Write your answer as you would say it, in 150-250 words. Give a through-line, not a chronology: what you have been building towards and why the next step follows from it.

The CV is already in the interviewer's hand, so repeating it adds nothing. A strong answer has a spine — an interest or capability that connects two or three choices — and lands on why this role is the next step. It should invite a follow-up question rather than close the subject.
